Hi, Our group has a commen Windows file share mapped as G: (no suprises there). On that file sjhre, we have a tiddlywiki, neityher large nor with plug- ins.
If I copy the wiki to my local drive I can edit it and save changes to i and it works as expected. On the other hand if I open it from the file share, no changes can be saved, most of the time I get the message that say that I either - have insufficent rights to the file - the file no longer exists - the filname contons illegal characters which of course is not true :-) On the other hand, ever since I changed to Win 7, there seems to be a change in the way Windows maps disks, even though I use G:\wiki.html to access the file share, it seems like Win 7 disregards the mapping and refers to the file as \\srevr_001.somesite.org\wiki.html. I've seen other programs in Win / not recognizing files on file shares. Is there some way around this? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
