I don't think this is a regression bug looking through the history... I think it has always been the case.

As long as no-one objects would you like to open a ticket for this at https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/tiddlywiki/issues, or even better send a pull request to https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/tiddlywiki with the suggested change?
