I'm perfectly willing to accept that this is user error, but it would be nice if somebody could help me figure out how to fix it.
I downloaded and installed, things seemed to be working, I created a couple of dozen tiddlers and was well pleased. So I saved and exited. Then I noticed the file was being saved with a name like index(1).html or somesuch. So I changed the file name. Now when I open the file I get an error message about it being improperly saved. Once I click OK on that, the site title and subtitle revert to the defaults. And I am unable to enter any of the default tiddlers to change the Title, Subtitle, Main Menu or Default Tiddlers. I would very much like a way to get access to those tiddlers so I can edit them AND a way to save the project as a file with a meaningful name. All without having to re-create the content. Is there any possibility of doing this? Or am I going to have to redownload, start again, and copy and paste everything? And if I have to do that, is there some way I can give it a meaningful name without recreating the same problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
