FYI I am having the same problems with Firefox 17.0.1 on Linux/Ubuntu 12.04
I cannot save my existing tiddlywiki or even a newly downloaded one. I can still save with Firefox 16.0.2 on Linux/Ubuntu 12.04 so I suspect something changed with FF upgrade... C.
