Interesting... on line 101 in overlay.js is "converter.writeString(content);" I don't known much of anything about tiddlyfox or JS but if I had to wager a guess I'd say that it's processing the content of the tiddly wiki, and something in the tiddly wiki may be causing an infinite loop, or is to big for the system at that moment in time.
So I guess a couple of question may be: How big is the TiddlyWiki? How much RAM dose the system have? And do you have any major memory hogging programs/tasks set to run around the times you can't save? as a P/s in the mean time you may look into using this Firefox plugin for a safety net: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/textarea-cache/ That way if Firefox crashes or something doesn't save you have temporary backups that you can pull things from.
