Recently decided it was time to bite the bullet and upgrade to TW5. It's been disappointing. I tried the upgrade path of dragging the old tiddliwik.html file onto a new one open in a browser window and saved that - it basically saved the same blank TW5 filei as before but with a new title. Also, none of the formatting was preserved in the on-screen version. So I tried opening the TW5 blank file and the TWC file in two browser instances and dragged a few tiddlers between them, then saved that. These at least had formatting while I was editing but lost their links to each other. And again, only a blank TW5 was saved.
I feel I must be doing something wrong, but I can't see what. Setup is Chrome on W8 (8.1?) fairly new laptop, old TWC file with about 50 tiddlers, no plug-ins other than the default ones as far as I'm aware.
