Thanks Jeremy for your remarks and advice. Although I'm obviously I'm a little frustrated by things, I don't mean to be overly liberal with my criticism. I have a lot to learn about TW5, and I appreciate the assistance to be found on this forum. You provide some hope.
One thing above all else stood out in your reply however: > When there's tension, TiddlyWiki tries to remember that it's a tool for users, not a tool for developers. For someone who harbors a love for HyperCard, this statement raises an eyebrow. The original intent of HyperCard was to significantly blur that distinction, and as we know the HC community provided astonishingly enthusiastic support for doing just that. I have no data to back this up... but... considering the conceptual barriers to even understanding what TW is, how to install it, learning to write in markup language, and comprehending concepts like 'transclusion', 'macro', etc, I question whether there are any TW 'users', but rather *only*'developers'. Ease of development *is* ease of use. Isn't it? dr -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
