I tend to agree that TiddlyWiki does not explain the benefits of its
approach to end-users.

This was on my mind when I chose TW (Classic) as my platform for a
genealogy publishing project, rather than going with a blog or other CMS.
I want to convey to my visitors how this experience is distinct from other
forms of online publishing they have seen before.

I previously shared a link looking for input or suggestions to improve a
"navigational tour" for readers ... and it doesn't even touch upon the
power of TiddlyWiki for content creators. However, this approach may pique
interest and send folks to read more at TiddlyWiki.com, TiddlySpace.com, or
elsewhere. Incidentally, I think the main TiddlySpace page does a better
job of promoting the purpose and advantages of TW to a brand-new audience.

I welcome all feedback:

Maybe someone else has written a better welcome / tour to TW ... if so,
please point the way.

By the way, LivesEntwined is my second TW. I have another private wiki
I've been using since May 2011 which has been an invaluable tool for
research, journaling, and introspection. My sincere thanks to Jeremy and
the other developers of the core TW and its ecosystem of plugins!

Best regards,
Andy
