Thanks, PMario. Having done that, I realized that in fact my subject line did NOT say it all - sorry! What I was really wondering about was something more like a select/toggle. Taking Stephan's (yes, no, maybe) tagging (in Quick Tagging at http://skeeve.tiddlyspot.com) as an example, I thought it would be nice to be able to easily flip back and forth between the yes, no, and maybe, (i.e., as soon as one tag is selected, the others are removed, but the tags not in use remain available to select).
I do know that I could do this with field values instead of tags. For a small number of tags, individual checkboxes are also not a bad option.
