I think, there is a general porblem with the "navigation" and "fieldmangler" signals. eg: tw-add-tag, tw-remove-tag. ...
A radiobutto imo would need a tw-select-tag. It would need to send this signal with a list of all the tags that are affected and one of them has an attribute: selected. So the fieldmangler can check all the tags. Those, that are not selected, have to be removed and the selected one has to be added, if it isn't there allready. cmari's dropdown list imo would need the same mechanism as the radio button. A similar thing should happen with the "checkbox widget" ... It can only work with tags, but it should be able to work with any field. There are allready 2 issues, that are somehow related. #262 is the "root" issue atm. see the links -mario https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/198 .. Extend checkbox widget to use fieldmangler widget https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/262 ..
