I'm running Linux and using the TiddlyDesktop client. I didn't delete
anything, the power in my house just got shut off, and when I returned to
my wiki I was wondering why it wouldn't open up with the password. I then
inspected the file and it went down to 17.6kb from 16 megs! I checked out
the file and it seems to be intact, the tags which open also close and it's
just the encrypted part that isn't understandable. So it seems somehow like
the power loss "wiped out" the entire content of the file.

I really recommend everyone here to back up your stuff. I made the mistake
of assuming that having already saved the file would preserve the wiki's
integrity... and paid the price. If I can lose all of my data in a sudden
power loss, so can you. It's going to take a month minimum to recover from
the loss so at least learn from my example and backup somewhere else.
