Gosh, that's interesting, I hadn't thought of that.

We could quite easily create a list of missing tiddlers that are referred
to in the tiddler being edited, without having to have the preview pane
open. Would that be useful? How might we present it?

Also interesting, why do you think that is? Because you lose all the
formatting gobbledegook?
