What you are seeing is called a "story permalink" (in TW5) or a "permaview" (in TWC). In TW5, the document URL is automatically updated to reflect the currently open tiddlers, so that refreshing the browser (after saving any changes) will not discard the current working context. It also allows you to provide others with a URL that will automatically open the tiddlers you want them to see when they click the link. You can adjust the 'automatic story permalink' optional behavior in the $:/ControlPanel > Advanced > Settings tab.
