There were quite a few changes from the 5.0.7 beta through the current
5.1.2 release. This included some major breaks in backward compatibility
that are a normal aspect of beta developement. If you remove your layout
customizations (i.e., only import your content tiddlers), then things
should most likely display correctly (though using the default
appearances). If that works, you can then selectively re-apply your
customizations until it break again. That will identify the cause. One
significant clue for you to start from: TiddlyWiki CSS classnames were
changes from "tw-" prefix to "tc-" prefix, so any custom themes would need
to be updated by hand to rename the classes accordingly.
