There is a ticket about adding maths expressions to the core filter syntax:

https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/254

There's no specific proposal for the syntax at the moment. My own
preference is that we should re-use standard mathematical expression syntax
as far as possible, and not invent a different syntax for math operations.
