I would open a PhoneGap account, http://phonegap.com/ His explanation from the video should be enough to get you from TW to Phone App. You can have 1 zip file for free so you can create one TW app.
The things Eric was showing were things like pinch zoom that he added. Phone Gap has a lot of plug ins and it would be cool if Eric had a quick post on how to 'massage' the data from Phone Gap to TW.
