--OT-- depends on one's expectations: the hardware is quite nice, that is, touch works perfectly and the hires screen is crisp. Personally, I even like the cover keyboard, it simply works for me. The pen is quite okay, but I still find Samsungs active pen without batteries to be better. Having a core i5 packed into a tablet is fine for me, but not everybody loves that.
What sucks are the aging Win APIs with their dpi dependencies baked into many applications. Some applications work without problems, but some need quite some tweaking. Office 2013 is quite nice and makes good use of the pen and touch. I especially now like the PC-version of Note 2013 in combination with a pen. So the Surface 3 Pro shows where the PC world can be heading to when software catches up. --OT-- And finally: it is fun to develop my TW5 stuff on the SFPro3, especially as I can do the Node.js-based stuff which isn't really possible yet on Android devices. So for me, no need anymore for a big laptop or a desktop system. But this is my personal view ... and after some weeks of working with the SFPro 3 I find it to be satisfying. But it's not a device for everybody, as the existing software often is not properly adapted to a portable touch screen device. Regards, -- TheDiveO Isn't it ordinary these days to be geekish...? Reminds me of that famous scene in Life of Brian with the old guy not wanting to be unique... ;) On Wednesday, December 3, 2014 7:44:59 PM UTC+1, PMario wrote: > > On Wednesday, December 3, 2014 6:11:33 PM UTC+1, TheDiveO wrote: >> >> ...
