Hi Rich, I think this is going in the right direction.
For example joomla pages often have a footer that says "created with joomla". Maybe there could be a flag in the config that allows the user to toggle a banner like "fork me at github" (however the message being instead: "powered by tiddlywiki"). So people become aware that the platform is in fact tiddlywiki! The link of the "powered by tiddlywiki" or "get tiddlywiki" should not be a direct download link though. Imo this would scare people who want to inform themselves first. -Felix On 20.12.2014 20:05, RichShumaker wrote: > Recently people have been discussing, > 'How do we get more people to use TW?' > My Answer, > 'Make getting it rock solid stupid easy' > Repeat the above step EVERYWHERE. > > My idea is to create a button or method to share TW on Everyone's TW > not just TW.Com. > The button could say something like,"GET THIS AWESOMENESS NOW!!!" > Of course the awesome language with !!! is probably going to need to > be different, ;) > > I would put a button on my site that would allow others to get it easily. > Something like the 'Join Now' that other sites have. > > What do you guys think about a 'Get TW Now Button?' > Would you put the button on your TW? > > Thanks again everyone for all your help. > > Rich Shumaker > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google > Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send > an email to [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > <mailto:[email protected]>. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/tiddlywiki. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
