Including a link to tw in mails makes me think sending mails is a feature of tw.
I am really in favor of an optional (displayed per default) banner that is displayed somewhere that says something like "powered by tiddlywiki" - This is really common (or a footer). A big lot of opensource systems promote themselves on thirdparty sites like that. The more sites exist based on tiddlywiki, the more advertisement!
