Appearently it allows for some 2.000 characters which is about half a A4 page - i.e sufficient for most tiddlers or correspondence and definitely sufficient for twitter type broadcasting. Because it is also possible to filter directly in a URL/permalink, you could maybe also simultaneously show all tiddlers, in the other TW, titled "@yourname" and sorted by creation time.
