Hehe - good catch! I confused myself due to dealing with too many issues at once. However, would this outsmarting of iframe restrictions not be useful for us? For instance, could it enable the application I mentioned the other day, i.e to drag tiddlerlinks straight out from iframes and allow you to, for instance, have a type of local istore in your TW, aggregating tiddlers, via iframes, from multiple other TWs. Or maybe this trick would not enable that? I mean, what prevents this "istore" are these iframe restrictions, no?
...and I get the impression this trick enables som kind of push, no? Send *to*, instead of fetch from, assuming the sender has the id of the iframe . Maybe several people could push into the same iframe and we'd have a way to for instance vote on stuff. Or maybe not into the same iframe (maybe one push erases the former?) but instead maybe have multiple iframes stack up inside one by having their identities count up? Yes, lots of "maybe", since I don't fully understand this stuff. Am I just totally off or could we use it after all? BTW, to my surprise I just found a link at the end of the article leading to another article by a certain Mr. Mahemoff (prevoius TW developer). <:-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
