The problem here is that behind the scenes the tagpill has to generate a
unique ID for coordination between the button that you click and the actual
dropdown.

The unique ID includes tokens that represent the position of the widget
within the tree of transclusions that make up the display.

The problem here is that each of the tagpills is generating the same ID,
and so all the drop downs are "ganged" together in the way that you see.

The fix is to introduce another transclusion. The easiest way to do that
would be to use a template tiddler with the list widget, rather than
embedding the repeated content within the <$list> tags.

Does that make sense? If you can share the wikitext that you are using at
the moment I'll be able to show you what I mean better.
