Jeremy, Thanks for looking into this.
I can confirm that I am using the upgrader at the address you specified. I started using a prerelease dating from about 21st March and my backups from soon after this have the same problems. My backups from before this using v5.1.7 give an error message when I use the upgrader but seem to upgrade okay if I dismiss the message (I remember that I had this when I upgraded to the prerelease and I had to exclude a particular tiddler from the upgrade to get it to work - can't remember which tiddler, but I could probably find again by trial and error). Sounds like this might be an object lesson in not upgrading my main wikis to a prerelease. Looks like dragging tiddlers from the affected wikis onto a clean v5.1.8 avoids the problem, and the clean wiki then upgrades okay, so hopefully this will get me back on track. Cheers, Neil. > I've been unable to duplicate the problem except by upgrading from an > intermediate 5.1.8-prerelease that included the bug.
