Good, Jeremy.

I was sure I had gotten the zipped files from Github. But when I check Github,
I now only find the master zip file, which is not the same one I downloaded. I
see you made a commit recently, so that may explain it.

In the package I downloaded, there are several files and directories and three
TdiddlyWikies: fulll, empty and encrypted. Since all are in a zipped file, the
encrypted one is probably not corrupt. And it came already encrypted. I have
not seen it's content and did not encrypt it myself.

Sorry I can’t remember the exact location I picked it up. It’s probably not
where most people pick up TiddlyWiki anyway, since I’m the only one reporting
it.

Cheers!

Hi Denis

I received the file. It is a v5.1.2 TiddlyWiki, and I can confirm that it
doesn't decrypt with the password "password".

How did you download the file originally? If you did so from tw.com then it's
possible that you set a different password yourself if you were experimenting
with the encryption features before performing the download. The download
button on tw.com generally dynamically constructs the file to be downloaded,
and so it will reflect any password change made before the download.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Yes, I can open it no problem.

I'll send you the file I downloaded that doesn't open. I think I downloaded the
package twice, for what's it's worth. But if it opens for everyone else, then
the case can be closed.

Come to think of it, since you are interested, I'll try downloading it again
and let you know.

And by the way... admirable product.

Hi Denis

Can you decrypt http://tiddlywiki.com/encrypted.html with the password
"password"?

Maybe you could email me the file directly at jermolene (at) jermolene (dot)
com?

Best wishes

Jeremy.

Just out of curiosity, does the encrypted wiki decrypt for anyone with the
password "password"? Wondering if it's just the file I have that's corrupted. I
rather suspect the file was encrypted with some mispelling of the word.

Hello Jeremy,

That's the first I tried. Then a few variations and others. "password" does not
decrypt the copy I have.

No problem though. I'm doing it with ease on my own copy of TW5 and password.
Works great, exept for the import text from file which does not recognize
international characters - French ones at least. Copy/paste does it fine so
that's what I'm using.

Cheers!

Denis

Hi Denis

The demo encrypted.html file is encrypted with the password "password"; it's
just provided for testing purposes. You can encrypt any TW5 file using the
encrypt button in the page toolbar before saving it.

Best wishes

Jeremy

The zip file from github Jermolene contains this "crypt" file asking for a
password. Was this included by mistake or should I know the password?
