That is definitely a fail from my part. Partially because the video has no audio, and it should. What it is happening on the video is that NoteSelf is automatically picking the cookie on the browser, and using it for authentication. In a normal situation, if you click the login button (labeled as offline) you will be prompted for an username and password. Thank you for pointing that confusing part of the video.
