I see a pattern emerging. A post about not having all the documentation conveniently available in one place usually results in someone creating another place for documentation. Invariably, that place fails to gain traction, and is maintained almost solely by it's creator.
A good way to proceed would be to *agree* on a place that would (1) be easy to contribute to (2) have some self-organizing features. IMO StackExchange can be it. The best content gets voted up, you can mark questions as favorites, as well as see a list of all your upvotes. It also has a "Documentation" feature - http://stackoverflow.com/documentation, but I don't know if enabling that would involve additional hurdles, once the Q&A site has graduated from the proposal status. --R.
