Ciao iain You should NOT need to roll-back Firefox.
At the same time, if you are a Firefox user like me, managing extensions in general has become convoluted with add-on developers trying to keep up. The issues particularly afflict extensions that need file-saving, of which I use several. I went back to the "ESR" version simply because I got fed up with Firefox itself increasingly being ahead of the add-on developers and their add-ons partly failing. The big test point will likely occur in November when Firefox 57 is supposed to be released, which is when FF standard is due to go WebExtensions only (FWIW, all the issues are coming because of the intent to take FF wholly that way). Hopefully this will not stop TiddlyFox working since a lot of work has been done towards compliance. On bog standard PC's running FF in Windows I haven't seen any issues with TiddlyFox. The new version is elegant, though, as you note, works slightly differently than the previous. The Mozilla hosted version is now the LATEST version, BTW: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/tiddlyfox/?src=search OLDER versions are available here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/tiddlyfox/versions/ Best wishes Josiah On Saturday, 22 April 2017 08:26:00 UTC+2, iain wrote: > > As a TW user I was hoping to get some clarification on this issue - as I > understand it > > The Tiddly Fox not saving issue is happening only on FF to both Classic TW > and TW5 > > There is a new Tiddly Fox in beta form that will solve this issue but is > being tested. > > Meanwhile in the latest version of FF when you open a TW the Tiddly Fox > icon appears and you click on it and it then with automatically save(until > at least the next change). > > Is this correct??
