Hi, I know, that using the browser shortcut CTRL+s (save) (under Windows) should be avoided. Instead the button "Save changes" on the side bar should be used.
>From https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/808 and the discussion in https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=GEqXu6xay7M#t=3455 I expected that the keyboard shortcut CTRL+s is traped, which would make the above user mistake impossible. In test with fresh TWs v5.1.14 using the Chrom or Firefox browser) the trap seems not to be active. The attempt to save the TiddlyWiki with CTRL+s triggered the usual file save dialogs. The file on the disk after that had the expected time stamp. In the browser UI the button "Save changes" still was shown in red, which looked suspecious. When closing the browser tab with the TiddlyWiki a warning is displayed, that the contents was not saved. User closed it anyway. Opening then the TiddlyWiki file resulted in messed layout and broken functionality (buttons, e.g Create a new tiddler non functional, selecting from Tools list without effect ...). Practically the TiddlyWiki file is no longer usable. Is there a way to add a trap for the browser shortcut CTRL+s ? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
