If the browser doesn't run, how should TW produce an alarm? ... TW can do 
things, when you start up. eg: reminders, which are implemented in the

A "reminder" type of thing, should be easy to implement. One could just use 
the stuff from there, if it had a license ;)

You can also create a startup script, that checks for stuff, that should be 
listed as eg: "pending", if the right information is provided in the 
titddlers. 


There's also a new method in latest browsers, that would allow us to set 
the exact time for a reminder. ... but those functions aren't easy to 
handle and topic to browser compatibility issues.
