Thanks for letting me know I'm not alone in my experience with NoteSelf and Firefox.
That might also explain my issues as I was doing similar testing. It would also explain the different experience with different urls for the Noteself html file. In my case, I used the developer tools as well. I used the Notself delete first (like you) but when I started experiencing issues, I used the developer tools to delete all the local data associated with the domain. I wonder if there is still some data that can't be deleted by the developer tools.
