I remember seeing that post not too long ago.  Based on my hypothesis that 
the server software was re-installed, I would also guess that the version 
of PHP was updated, in which case, the now obsolete function would cause 
the existing TiddlySpot store.php to fail, producing exactly the results we 
are seeing. 

Unfortunately, given GoogleGroups poor search function, it's not easy to 
find the message that described the fix (IIRC, it was a single line of 
code).  If you can find that message and post a follow-up link to it, the 
Bairds can apply that fix and hopefully get TiddlySpot saving working again.
