Surya, I look after some medical tiddlywikis with quite a few embedded images and I get reports of poor performance if they get over about 35-40 MB, so I then shrink the images and performance improves.
This wiki is synchronized using Dropbox across various devices including an iPad and an iPhone. However, any editing is done on a desktop or laptop.
