Jed's "multi-user" has had terrible issues with being misunderstood. Yes, 
it enables simultaneous access over a network IF you want--but it can also 
be used for immediate local needs just as well.

BTW Jed partly developed "Bob", I believe, (what used to be called 
"Multi-User") in order to be able to control robots through Raspberry :-)

Your own WebDAV route sounds good!!
