Hi Gerald, There is a clone button in the Tiddler menu (down arrow above each Tiddler).
It is not clear to me how your functionality would differ from that. You could also make this button better accessible via the same menu > Info > Tools tab Check the box for the clone button to make it visible directly above each Tiddler.
