Gerard, Is it correct that another way to say this is you want to create new tiddlers from a template?
Do you want the current tiddler text to be coppied to the new tiddler? You could make a button that creates a New tiddler with the content you want or a button that logs your blood glucose level to a data tiddler. You could also use a journal tiddler.
