But why wouldn’t you just use the existing save changes button to save a fully 
functional copy of the wiki? What use is a file that just contains some of the 
tiddlers you were working on? That seems like an edge case.

Which users are we talking about? I’m arguing that local storage is not a 
universal solution, and that it should only be recommended in specialised 
situations where there is a low likelihood of data loss.
