Agreed. I too think we lost something when TWC's heading-sections didn't
make it into the TW5 model.
I do use custom tags to create a poor-man's version of sections within a
text - but individual addressability is not possible.
In my dreams, this would work:
{{tiddler-name[!!optional-field]]..section-name}}
And in markup...
\define-section my-section
Stuff and things
\end
Or, perhaps,
<tiddler-section name="my-section">
