Alan, Thanks so much for sharing this to the community. I have started investigating and its looks great. I see you have put in the work to publish it. I have being working with tables and field definitions of late myself so will provide a feedback if I can.
It is perhaps not possible for me to incorporate this into some existing solutions but I see great value going forward.
