Please do publish as I am sure after looking at your code I can get an idea of where you are going.
However my purpose is not mind mapping either... this would just be a side effect. I am envisioning a graphics tool that can display flowcharts/family trees which can be adapted to mind mapping. Maybe you are talking about graphs as in x and y axis? If so this would be really great to see.
