I'd call that neither a bug or a feature but rather a known limitation. ;)
It's something I begrudgingly accepted when writing the code as there was no
easy way to find the viewer div, so it looks for a direct child of the
tiddler div. I'm hoping that this is the kind of thing that jQuery will
allow us to implement in a better manner. I'll try and release an update
after TW 2.5 is released.
