You must *never* use the browser's File>Save (or File>SaveAs) menu items to save a TiddlyWiki file. Rather, use the "save changes" command from the TW sidebar. When you save the changes, the existing file will be renamed by adding a "timestamp" to the filename, so that it is safely backed up.
