I think at one point "having a look at all spaces" will not be a
viable option, so some kind of a notification queue should eventually
be part of TiddlyWeb / TiddlySpace ...in the case it isn't already.
Something that might be more tied to a user than to a space ...which
goes hand in hand with what someone else recently asked for, which is
to more fundamentally separate the idea of a user from that of a
space, not just because not all users (granted access to private
contents) necessarily want to have a space that goes by their name.

However, such a noticifation queue might as well be interesting for
individual spaces, not just their owners (or rather members as of
today).

I also think - if it were possible at all - that it were highly
beneficial if there were a further distinction between: public/private
vs. read/write:

Actually, all four of these combinations might yield in some form of
new tiddler...

1) public & read - the usual
2) public & write - a kind of "note tiddler" or "talk tiddler" tagged
@source able to notify the space owner / members
3) private & read - a new "protected mode" that allowed an "owner" to
show private space contents to other members, yet not to have (all of)
them provided with write priviledges + the mechanism from 2)
4) private & write - well, then I am a "core member" to a
space ...s.o. an "owner" has given the highest of priviledges, which
is to publish and otherwise manage space contents.

Thinking about this furhter, there might even be a "protected"
priviledge, distinguishing editors from admins, meaning... those that
design and develop a space from those that maintain and provide its
contents, thus

public/protected/private & read/write

I would certainly understand if this overly stretched TiddlyWeb's
current design tenets.

Cheers, Tobias.
