Clicking permaview currently updates the address bar. Updating the address bar to a different domain would cause the browser to load that webpage. This might be extremely confusing for some people. We could add a confirm exit dialog box but I hate these dialogs and would push against it.
> h**p://pmario.tiddlyspace.com/#[[GreenBubbles *(%40jon)*]] > The cool thing now is, that the novice user is redirected to my site, > and thinks I did it, and clicks all my adds. Also the groups search > engins will list my site, as the ultimate site for how to create > "GreenBubbles". I think this is acceptable and not a big deal. All I need to do is ask you if you created it and find out that way, or find out through other sources. It might lead to a little confusion but it's not going to cause a massive issue. On subject of search engine, GreenBubbles would be loaded via ajax, so wouldn't be in the content of your TiddlyWiki thus would be unlikely to be indexed by google on that subject. The real interesting use case for this for me would be with permaviews. I might have a space about Renewable Energy, but might want to reference an article you wrote about in your oil space. I would like to construct a story to share with people including your article, but might not want to include the oil space. I like the idea of constructing documents from tiddlers I have found on TiddlySpace and pieced together. That aside, we still haven't decided on whether we want to switch from *( to something prettier. I think Colm and Jeremy's suggestions are good ones. Although I do not like "TiddlerTitler --@jon-- " as running this through a wikifier results in a strike through through @jon. I'd vote for Jeremy's personally if we are going to change it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
