I'm thinking of integrating Aloha editor (http://www.aloha-editor.org/) in TW.
Has anyone tried this? Rich suggested that TW 5 should offer a modeless editing experience, possibly with Aloha (https://groups.google.com/d/topic/tiddlywikidev/BZlaI8gNPUI/discussion), but it may already be doable with TW 2. Some initial thoughts: - Aloha tiddlers would be tagged with a special tag, which would trigger the editor when the tiddler is clicked. - They would only contain HTML, no wikimarkup. I'm ok with that, since I don't need macros in most of my tiddlers. And Aloha markup seems clean. - When the Aloha editor would lose focus, its html content would be saved to the tiddler. Someting like this: GENTICS.Aloha.EventRegistry.subscribe(GENTICS.Aloha, "editableDeactivated", saveContentToTiddler); I have very little experience in JS and TW, so any help is welcome. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWikiDev" group.
