Hi, I'm trying to run TiddlyWidi5 on node.js, because there is some clues that running it on node.js will avoid browser security limitations. I installed nodejs (0.8.15) on a Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. I ran ./serve.sh in the TiddlyWiki5 directory, resulting in these messages :
tw5@ip-10-130-7-113:/var/www/tw5/TiddlyWiki5$ ./serve.sh > Executing command: server 8080 $:/core/templates/tiddlywiki5.template.html > text/plain text/html > Serving on port 8080 > > Opened up localhost:8080 using Firefox or Chrome. The nodejs server runs a version of five.tiddlywiki.com in port 8080. Clicking on links opens up existing tiddlers. But when I try to edit and save, it said : > Your browser only supports manual saving. > > To save your modified wiki, right click on the download link below and > select "Download file" or "Save file", and then choose the folder and > filename. > > > Maybe I understand these wrong, given incomplete docs since TW5 is still in heavy development. What steps should I follow to run a TiddlyWiki5 web server with synchronization (a.k.a Save) functionality ?
