Greetings All... Jeremy and I have kicked off a new round of regularly-scheduled Google Hangouts for live TiddlyWiki discussion. These hangouts are currently scheduled for 2 hours, every Tuesday, at 4pm BST (British Summer Time = UDT+1). Jeremy will post an announcement / link to the Hangout here, shortly before the Hangout starts.
During the Hangout session, in addition to development status updates/discussions on both TiddlyWiki5 and TiddlyWiki Classic, I will be presenting a segment called "TiddlyClinic"... where people can ask specific TiddlyWiki Classic usage questions and get ***LIVE HELP*** with problems they are encountering, including use of screencasting and/or sharing documents. The TiddlyClinic segment may also feature "walkthroughs" of beginner, intermediate, or advanced techniques, such as basic setup/configuration, wiki-syntax formatting issues, customization of templates and stylesheets, as well as use of transclusions, inline scripting, and other methods for generating dynamic output and interactive TiddlyWiki "applications" like To-Do lists, note-taking systems, etc. In order to provide you with the most helpful TiddlyClinic sessions, it would be VERY helpful to have a few specific questions or at least "topics of interest" submitted ahead of time, so that I can prepare some demo documents (if needed) and plan the walkthrough presentation sequence so it will make sense. In addition, if you are interested in having your specific problem addressed LIVE during the Hangout, it would be good to send as much information beforehand, describing the problem in detail. If direct debugging seems useful, I might then request that you send the document itself as an email attachment, so I can begin to explore the problem prior to the Hangout session. (Note: do NOT send your document until requested... messages with unsolicited attachments are generally suspect, and may be deleted without being read). Of course, even if there are no pre-scheduled questions on the TiddlyClinic agenda, I will still be available during that time to attempt to answer any TiddlyWiki questions you have. Even if you don't have any specific issues to be addresssed, just SHOW UP for the Hangout and listen in. You may find that the discussion of other peoples' TiddlyWiki problems can be helpful to you by suggesting new techniques that you can apply to your own documents. I look forward to seeing a HUGE crowd of TiddlyWiki users next Tuesday! enjoy, -e Eric Shulman TiddlyTools / ELS Design Studios HELP ME TO HELP YOU - MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO MY "TIP JAR"... http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#Donations Professional TiddlyWiki Consulting Services...
