I'm not talking about a visual representation of the end of line character. 
I meant that neither the angle quote nor the tick results in a rendered 
line break when the text contains a newline. I.e the angle quote simply 
disregards a newline just like wikitext normally does and the tick ends 
from a newline (thus resulting in a visual brake with an empty row). So you 
can't get a new line by inserting \n (i.e by breaking the line and continue 
to type on the new row).
