Have you looked at VNCast?  I'm looking into that for one of my clients.
 I may be able to provide an accelerated version of it or one which
passes through the already accelerated Tight protocol from TigerVNC or
TurboVNC

I would say that such a solution doesn't belong under the umbrella of
TigerVNC.  It's a separate solution designed to solve a more specialized
type of problem.
