Lack of such a "feature" is pretty painful to deal with as well ;) A couple of areas you may like to review: build instructions , esp for xorg module, which are a bit unclear to someone not familiar with the project. how to supply options in xorg.conf (and what options are applicable) references to "the web site" in man page which seem obsolete. If there is a web site , an URL is required. Running via ssh , which is what the above, non existent reference is about. So this is currently undocumented. I've been testing TigerVNC for several weeks now for remote tech. support and tuition on x86-64 (kubuntu) and it's performing nicely.
