The new FLTK based client is coming along nicely and now has a rather
decent feature set. There are still a few regressions compared to the
old client (biggest one being lack of full screen support), but I'd
still say it is ready for some testing.

To build the new client you need some things:

- CMake. I have not bothered integrating things into autotools as we
  are trying to move away from that.

- FLTK 1.3 (please use the latest snapshot possible). For maximum
  functionality you should also apply these patches:

- Invoke cmake with the argument -DBUILD_NEW_VNCVIEWER=ON

It should (hopefully) link and run fine after that and you can test
away. Bug reports welcome. :)
